Cayman Airways adjusts flight schedule ahead of Tropical Depression Grace

The Cayman Airways Hurricane Committee met on Monday afternoon, August 16th, 2021 to determine if any changes are needed to the airline’s flight operations ahead of the arrival of Tropical Depression Grace on Tuesday night and early Wednesday morning.

For the safety of passengers, crew, and the Cayman Airways fleet, the following flights have been adjusted:

REPATRIATION FLIGHTS

Wednesday August 18, 2021

MIAMI

KX3102 and KX3103 between Grand Cayman and Miami: CANCELED

Affected passengers will be re-protected on the following flight on Thursday August 19, 2021:

• KX3102 departs Grand Cayman at 8am and arrives in Miami at 10:30am
• KX3103 departs Miami at 12pm and arrives on Grand Cayman at 12:30pm

Thursday August 19, 2021

KINGSTON

KX3600 has been retimed and will now depart Grand Cayman at 12pm and arrive in Kingston at 1:05pm

KX3601 has been retimed and will now depart Kingston at 2:15pm and arrive on Grand Cayman at 3:20pm

KX4424 has been retimed and will now depart Cayman Brac at 4pm and arrive on Little Cayman at 4:10pm.

KX4424 has been rerouted as follows: depart Little Cayman at 4:20pm for an arrival on Cayman Brac at 4:30pm

Cayman Airways reservations agents are in the process of contacting all affected passengers to rebook them on applicable flights for their destination. Passengers whose flights have not been impacted may voluntarily change their travel dates without penalty if they have existing tickets for travel between Grand Cayman and Cayman Brac or Little Cayman between Monday August 16, 2021 and Thursday August 19, 2021. No change fees apply to repatriation flights. Any applicable fare difference will apply.
