Cayman Airways fleet to return home and resume flight operations after the passage of Hurricane Beryl

With the all-clear being issued for the Cayman Islands after the passage of major Hurricane Beryl, Cayman Airways confirms that it has activated the process of returning its fleet and crew home, as well as passengers. 

As such, the New York, Los Angeles, and Miami inbound flights that were scheduled for today, Thursday July 4, 2024, will operate with adjusted flight times, and affected passengers have been contacted directly. 

For Cayman residents who evacuated the Cayman Islands and wish to return home, a special flight has been added from Miami to Grand Cayman for Friday July 5, 2024 as follows:

KX3103 departs MIA at 9:30am and arrives at GCM at 10:00am

Cayman Airways also confirms that its scheduled international flight operations for tomorrow Friday July 5, 2024, will resume as normal. Passengers on any flights that were previously cancelled for today as a result of the hurricane will be accommodated on flights tomorrow, and will be contacted directly.

Domestic flights to, from, and between the Sister Islands are cancelled for today, and service will resume on Friday July 5, 2024 with some adjustments to flight times. Affected customers will be contacted directly.

Customers are reminded and encouraged to ensure that their ticket reservations are updated with accurate contact details, and to book flights online at www.caymanairways.com or with a travel professional of their choice, to help alleviate the high call volumes to the Cayman Airways Reservations Call Center at this time. Alternatively, the Call Center has resumed normal operating hours of 7am to 9pm daily.
