CAL passengers to get more choices with new Preferred Seat Selection Service

Cayman Airways Limited (CAL) is thrilled to announce the launch of its new Preferred Seat Selection Service, starting October 16, 2024. For the first time, passengers will have the option to select premium seats such as exit rows and bulkhead seats, offering an enhanced travel experience for those seeking added comfort and convenience.

Importantly, the traditional seat selection process will remain unchanged and free of charge for all passengers. This new service is simply an additional option for those wishing to secure high-demand seats in advance. Passengers can continue to enjoy the same complimentary seat selection as before, for their flight. However, travelers now have the opportunity to purchase  a limited number of preferred seats at any point from booking, through to check-in.

Sir Turtle Rewards Platinum and Gold members, as well as Sir Turtle Club Members, will enjoy the added perk of complimentary access to preferred seat selection.

Paul Tibbetts, Executive Vice President of Commercial Affairs and Chief Financial Officer at Cayman Airways, emphasized  the value of this service, stating: “Our new Preferred Seat Selection Service is another way we’re enhancing the customer experience at Cayman Airways. While our traditional, free seat selection remains available to everyone, this feature responds to a long-standing request from passengers who want the opportunity to secure high-demand seats early, enabling them to tailor their journey for greater comfort and enjoyment.”

Pricing for Preferred Seat selection on routes will vary depending on the destination and the specific seat type.
