CAL issues change fee waiver for all flights ahead of new tropical storm

Due to the projected path of a tropical storm approaching the Cayman area, Cayman Airways Limited (CAL) has implemented a change fee waiver for customers who wish to voluntarily change their plans to travel to, from, and between the Cayman Islands.

Customers will not have to pay a change fee, or fare difference, if their changes meet the following requirements:

  • Tickets must have been purchased on/before November 3, 2024
  • Travel must have been scheduled for flights departing between November 4-7, 2024
  • New travel dates must be rebooked by November 14, 2024
  • New travel dates must commence by November 14, 2024 and must be completed by December 7, 2024 or by the original return date
  • All travel must be rebooked in the original cabin
  • All travel must be on Cayman Airways

Customers who wish to travel at a later date will have the change fee waived but must pay any applicable fare difference charges. These customers can also apply the full value of the ticket to their travel bank account, provided that:

  • Tickets were purchased on/before November 3, 2024
  • Travel was scheduled between November 4-7, 2024

Cayman Airways customers are reminded to ensure that their ticket reservations contain accurate contact details, including an email address and phone number, for the airline to be able to advise them directly of any updates if changes to the flight schedule become necessary. Customers can easily update their own contact details online at any time by visiting www.caymanairways.com and clicking on "Manage My Bookings" (under the main booking window) where they can enter their trip details and then edit their contact details under the "Passenger Details" section.
