For every flight you take with Cayman Airways, you can rest assured that your safety and well-being, as well as that of our employees, are our top priority at every step of your journey with us. As the Coronavirus (COVID-19) situation evolved, and continues to evolve globally and regionally, Cayman Airways implemented proactive and voluntary measures early on to help customers have a healthy flying experience while flights remained in operation.

Our regular cleaning practices have always met or exceeded all regulatory guidelines, both locally and in the markets we serve. Our cleaning regimen is structured to ensure that our aircraft are cleaned at key times during their journeys every day. Enhanced and specialized cleaning measures are being implemented between flights daily to ensure that surfaces which passengers may have come in contact with are sanitized and disinfected. Our inflight Cabin Crew also wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for the duration of each flight. Middle seats also continue to be blocked to allow more social distancing on board for the ongoing safety of our passengers and crew.

In accordance with required procedures, all catering equipment on board our aircraft have always undergone a thorough sanitization regimen. During the ongoing closure of Cayman's borders, our inflight service has been suspended for the safety of our passengers and crew, until further notice.

Cayman Airways works closely with all airport authorities in the markets we serve to ensure a clean and safe environment for our employees and customers. All Cayman Airways staff are continuing to practice and implement enhanced sanitary measures (frequent handwashing/hand sanitization/wearing of masks and PPE where required) and the airline is continuing to work with all applicable airports who provide their own cleaning services, to ensure that check-in areas and departure gates are maintained in a suitable sanitary condition.

Cayman Airways is committed to providing employees with updates regularly as it relates to COVID-19 and its impact on our operations. We encourage you, our customers, to stay updated on the latest CAL news by visiting this website and our social media platforms. We also encourage you to continue to seek updates on any new developments related to COVID-19 from trusted sources, and to implement your own strategies for a healthy travel experience. Based on the guidance of local and international health officials, we urge you not to travel when sick, and encourage you to travel with your own hand sanitizer. To learn more about protecting yourself from the Coronavirus, visit the Center for Disease Control (CDC) website in the USA at cdc.gov/coronavirus or visit the Cayman Islands Government’s website at www.gov.ky/coronavirus

Cayman Airways has also extended its change-fee waiver for repatriation flights to further accommodate our passengers, until further notice.
