Cayman Airways assures the travelling public that seats are still available for persons wishing to leave the Cayman Islands this week, and for those seeking to return home to Cayman before the closure of the country’s airports at 11:59pm on Sunday March 22, 2020 as part of the measures being implemented by the Cayman Islands Government to help protect and safeguard the Cayman Islands from the Coronavirus (COVID-19).
The airline is monitoring its flight booking levels, along with any cancellations from other carriers, and are taking the necessary steps to ensure that passengers are able to be accommodated. However, Honduras has closed its borders, and as of today, flights are not allowed into that country.
Passengers are reminded that they’re responsible for confirming what the applicable travel restrictions, and travel document requirements, are for the countries they’re travelling to, prior to booking, or checking-in for, any flights.
