When Stephen Aynsley signed up as a volunteer for this year’s Taste of Cayman Food and Wine Festival, he had no idea that his hard work would be rewarded with a ticket to New York with Cayman Airways!
Stephen’s role at the festival was the main bar runner, and he says there was definitely a lot of running involved throughout the evening.
“It was a busy night but I loved volunteering for the event, the atmosphere was hectic but so much fun. Winning the ticket from Cayman Airways as well was just the icing on some well-deserved cake. Thanks Cayman Airways and Taste of Cayman, and count me in next year to help again!”
Marketing & Public Relations Manager for Cayman Airways, Olivia Scott-Ramirez, said: “Our CITA partners have said time and again that Taste of Cayman wouldn’t be possible without the many volunteers who come out each year, so it was important to us to include them in our promotion by giving them the opportunity to enter to win a ticket to experience this exciting destination with us, which was the feature of our Taste of Cayman sponsorship this year.”
CITA Executive Director, Tiffany Dixon-Ebanks, commented: “CITA is happy that Cayman Airways came on board to sponsor Taste of Cayman in 2015 and looks forward to building the relationship with the national flag carrier. We had an oversubscription of volunteers this year, and it is very fitting that Cayman Airways, recognizing how valuable volunteers are to this Festival, provided this prize for one lucky individual. Congratulations again Stephen, and ‘hats off’ to all who made the event special!
In the spirit of Caymankind, Cayman Airways is the only airline offering 2 FREE checked bags up to 55lbs each on nonstop flights between Grand Cayman and New York, as well as a FREE meal in Economy, and FREE Rum Punch.
